Another Quiz Bird

I'm going to be away from a computer for a few days during the WSO Wisconsin Point field trip this weekend. While I'm away, here's another quiz bird for you to consider. This very shy little bird was digiscoped just this morning at Pheasant Branch Conservancy and was hanging out in dense thicket. What do you think it is?

It appears to be a Lincoln's Sparrow, given it's size in comparison to the leaves. Take away the size reference, it is amazing how similar the markings in this picture resemble those of a grouse, especially the Sharp-tailed grouse!
Birder Guy
I agree w/Birder guy- nice shot BTW :)
I see I have to make this much more difficult. OK...when I get back from this field trip, I'll see what I can come up with!
Yes. I agree with "Birder Guy"... It does look much like a grouse!
(BTW - as I browsed your blog some, I noticed that the quality of these photos you took is extraordinary!)
