I read an article just yesterday on ABC News' web site about how mercury contamination has moved far beyond fish and into birds--especially poultry--and other animals. I can't believe that they've known about this problem for so long (I remember studying it in 4th grade science in the early 70s) and STILL the problem grows worse, not better.
