Cranes Reach Finish Line

"On Tuesday, a group of endangered whooping cranes led by ultralight planes completed their 1,234-mile winged migration from Wisconsin to central Florida. This is the sixth year that captive-reared whooping cranes have learned their migration route with the help of pilots and ground crew."

This is such awesome news! Thanks Mike! The last report is that Operation Migration is short about $50,000 on this year's budget for the migrating flock. It's a great time to consider becoming a "mile maker" for Operation Migration. It costs $206 to sponsor a mile. I bought my Dad a mile this week - and I know that's going to be special for him.
