Even more snow...

Yet another snowstorm moved through southern Wisconsin during the past 24 hours, dumping another 7 to 8 inches of snow on us. The sun is shining now, but shoveling out took priority over exploring Pheasant Branch Conservancy – I was hoping to go snowshoeing this morning before work. Still, the relative density of birds in my backyard probably makes them a lot easier to watch versus a trip to the conservancy. We've had Common Redpolls coming to our feeders just about every day. Here are the bird species we're seeing on a regular basis in our backyard:
Cooper's Hawk
Mourning Dove
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Hairy Woodpecker
Downy Woodpecker
Blue Jay
American Crow
Black-capped Chickadee
White-breasted Nuthatch
Red-breasted Nuthatch
Cedar Waxwing
American Tree Sparrow
Dark-eyed Junco
Northern Cardinal
House Finch
Common Redpoll
American Goldfinch
Pine Siskin
House Sparrow

...COOL photo. Impressive list too!
Eww...Icky, nasty sn*w! I'm surprised to see that we both have a lot of the same regular visitors, regardless that you're up north & I'm down south.
