Red-wings Return!

They're baaack! A little over an hour ago, three male Red-winged Blackbirds showed up at the feeders outside of Eagle Optics. Stepping outside, their calls can be heard from all around. When I first got to work this morning? Nothing. It’s not like they just showed up – they did!

Great photo, Mike. Now I'm going to have to run out to our local marsh and see if they've returned to Puget Sound. Our early bulb flowers are up and trees are beginning to flower.

Brilliant shot, Mike! Well-done. I had my first RWBB here in southern Michigan mid-February when it was -5ºF. He tried singing once and coughed himself silly!
Regards from a fellow digiscoper,
